Barks 'N Rec was built to connect dog owners whose dogs have similiar interests. Rather than taking your dog to a random park, it matches you with your perfect "walk buddy" — another dynamic dog-owner duo who likes to swim, hike, or just go for a walk in the greater Seattle area. No matter what interests your dog has, we can find a match!
About Our Team
Max is excited to once again be a student after previously working in a deli for the past few years. When he is not spending all of his time programming, he enjoys watching sports, playing video games, and listening to all kinds of music. His goal is to complete the Code Fellows program and become a full time developer, though he has not yet decided on what 401 class he would like to take.
Chelsea is a part-time jazz DJ, and a full-time dog lover. She entered Code Fellows with a background in economics and politics, which she is excited combine with software development. When she's not in hot pursuit of dogs to pet, she enjoys reading, drinking coffee, making mix playlists for friends, kayaking, and swing dancing.
David comes from Edmond,Oklahoma and previously was employed as a commercial diver in Washington and Alaska. He is currently studying to become a Front End web developer. In his spare time he swing dances, scuba dives, flys helicopers and hikes. Usually in that order starting a [0].
Abdullah Soulaiman, who is new to the web development world, has collaborated with this amazing team to establish "Bark 'N Rec." He loves cooking with his pressure cooker (those things are time savers), outdoor activities, hiking, and real football (AKA, "soccer"). His goal is to continue his learning journey into back-end development with both Python and Java, and to learn Ember.js framework for web applications.
